Spoiler Alert: most Advent calendars involve chocolate. This one does not!

At a time of year when schools are workplaces are wrapping up and the diary is jammed full of food and socialising and shopping, this calendar offers some stillness for reflection. The Anglican Diocese of Auckland’s Advent Calendar www.advent-anglican.nz is an attempt to reclaim the anticipation of Advent and use this season as a way of slowing down and deepening faith.

This calendar was created by The Reverend Sarah Park (former Diocesan Ministry Educator). It is the third online calendar offered by the Diocese of Auckland.
